MealDost (“MealDost”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated by Rahul Sharma, is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we keep it safe when you use our software and website.

1. Information we collect

• Account information: your name and email address, collected when you sign in (for example, via Google Sign-In).
• Payment information: when you subscribe, payments are processed securely by our payment partner, Razorpay. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank details on our servers.
• Your practice data: the client records, diet plans, and files you create in the app. This is stored primarily on your own device and, if you use cloud sync, an encrypted backup is stored on our servers.
• Technical information: basic app version and device information used to keep the software working and up to date.

2. How we use your information

• To provide and operate the MealDost software and cloud sync.
• To manage your account, subscription, and billing.
• To provide customer support and important service updates.
• To improve the reliability and security of the product.

3. How your data is stored and protected

Your practice and client data is encrypted (AES-256) before it is backed up to our servers, and the encryption keys are stored separately from the data. Your clients’ health information only ever leaves your device in encrypted form. We use reputable hosting infrastructure with regular backups.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with trusted service providers strictly to run MealDost:

• Google — for secure sign-in.
• Razorpay — for secure payment processing.
• Our hosting provider — to store the encrypted backups.

5. Your responsibilities

As a dietitian or nutritionist, you are responsible for obtaining appropriate consent from your own clients before entering their personal or health information into MealDost.
